On Tuesday, several BRS leaders, along with their family members, joined the Congress party at Sajjapur Village in the Jaheerabad Constituency. Industrialist and Jaheerabad Congress Assembly leader K. Prasad Reddy welcomed the new members, felicitating them with shawls. “People have recognized the arrogance of BRS leaders and are choosing to join the Congress party due to its welfare schemes,” K. Prasad Reddy stated.He further added that a personal initiative would be taken to secure Sajjapur, along with five other villages, in the upcoming local body elections as a gift to former minister and Jaheerabad in-charge Dr. A. Chandrashekhar.Among those who joined the Congress are Chakali Mahesh, Chakali Srinivas, Ningani Narsimhulu, Padmamma, Chakali Narsimhulu, and others.
The event was attended by several Congress leaders. Later, he distributed bicycles to another 20 students with his own funds, under his leadership. On this occasion, several par-ents expressed their gratitude and extended special thanks to him. Many Congress leaders, villagers, and others participated in the event.
