Kothagudem traffic police, in coordination with the transport department, have launched a special drive to ensure that all drivers obtain valid licenses. Under the directives of District SP Rohit Raju IPS and the guidance of DSP Rehman, traffic police in Kothagudem town are cracking down on those driving vehicles without a valid license. As part of this initiative, five auto drivers from Ramavaram, Super Bazaar, Lakshmidevipalli, and Sujathanagar were issued learning licenses under the supervision of District Transport Officer Venkataramana. Traffic SI Naresh stated that this step was taken to encourage drivers to obtain proper licenses before operating vehicles.
Officials further emphasized that individuals eligible for driving licenses but failing to obtain them would face strict action. The SP has instructed authorities to continue the special drive to enforce road safety and compliance with licensing regulations.
