J365NEWS,KOTHAGUDEM: BRS Party Kothagudem Town leader Poornachander questioned the government on whether it plans to deposit Rythu Bharosa funds into farmers’ accounts. He pointed out that farmers in Kothagudem Mandal have not received the funds and are anxiously waiting for the “Taki Taki” message confirming the deposit. He criticized the government for holding Gram Sabhas across the state and announcing the implementation of four schemes while linking them to the Employment Guarantee Scheme, sidelining the Indiramma Aathmeeya Bharosa scheme in Kothagudem Municipality. He reminded that the High Court had already sought clarification on the implementation of this scheme for agricultural laborers within the municipality limits.

Now, the government claims to be selecting one village per mandal to deposit Rythu Bharosa funds. However, he questioned the fate of farmers in Chittiramaavaram, Kothagudem Town, where, according to official records, 253 farmers are still waiting for their funds. He alleged that funds for the Kharif and Rabi seasons were diverted under the pretext of municipal expenses, undermining the Indiramma Aathmeeya Bharosa scheme. He further criticized the government for delaying the scheme meant to provide financial assistance during the sowing season, questioning the rationale behind postponing fund disbursement to February and March. He demanded that the government provide clarity to farmers regarding the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
