The Hazrat Syed Mastan Shah Wali Urs festival was grandly celebrated under the joint auspices of Hindu and Muslim devotees at Bhootappa Kanuma, Jambulabanda, and Gudibanda in Madakasira Taluk, Satya Sai District. The event featured a sandalwood offering on Saturday, followed by a Qawwali performance on Sunday. A Sarvamata Sammelanam (Interfaith Conference) was held under the chairmanship of Umar Farooq Khan, National President of the All India Shaheed Tipu Sultan United Front, with former MLA Sudhakar as the distinguished guest. Speaking at the event, Umar Farooq Khan highlighted the teachings of Hazrat Syed Mastan Shah Wali in promoting peace and harmony through the Sufi path, advocating for the elimination of discrimination and untouchability while fostering communal unity. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with R.K. Nasruddin Saab of Gudibanda offering the sandalwood, while devotees from Penukonda played a key role in the festivities.

The stage hosted an engaging Qawwali session attended by prominent figures, local dignitaries, and a large number of Hindu and Muslim devotees who actively contributed to the event. Among the notable attendees were former ZPTC member Srinivas Murthy of Gudibanda, Durgesh, former RPTC member G.B. Shivakumar and his brothers, as well as various community leaders including Rafique, Waris from HDP, and Nagabhushana from Jambulabanda. The Qawwali event saw participation from Hussain Raza Qadri of Gudibanda and religious leaders from Amarapuram and Madakasira. The festival was successfully organized with the support of the Hazrat Syed Mastan Shah Wali (RA) Committee, Dargah caretakers, and Hindu-Muslim devotees, ensuring a harmonious and spiritually enriching celebration.
