J365 NEWS:Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy handed over the license documents to Singareni CMD  N. Balram.

The Union Minister for Coal and Mines,  G. Kishan Reddy, handed over the licenses permitting Singareni to carry out exploration of gold and copper minerals in the Devadurga region of Karnataka to Singareni CMD N. Balram.

On Tuesday, these licenses were presented during the Critical Minerals Centre of Excellence Seminar organized by the Union Ministry of Mines at T-Hub, Hyderabad.

In the auction for critical minerals held by the Union Ministry of Mines in March this year, Singareni participated and secured the rights to explore gold and copper minerals over an extent of 199 square kilometers in the Devadurga region of Karnataka with a royalty of 37.75%. The related licenses and certificates were handed over on Tuesday by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, said that both public and private enterprises must work towards making India self-reliant in the critical minerals sector. He informed that the Government of India has allocated ₹32,000 crores for the development of the critical minerals sector. He congratulated the winners of the critical minerals auction and urged them to commence exploration activities immediately.
